Affiliate Disclosure

The short version

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy a product, we may earn a commission. You pay the same price either way. We only recommend tools and platforms we would use, or have used, on a client store.

Which programs we use

We participate in partner and affiliate programs for commerce platforms, Shopify apps, themes, and marketing tools. These may include:

  • The Shopify Partner program and Shopify app partner programs.
  • Affiliate programs for Shopify apps we install and support.
  • Theme marketplace and tooling referral programs.

Not every product we mention has an affiliate program, and not every affiliate link earns us money. When a program is active, the link is marked with a "Partner" label where the layout allows it.

How recommendations are decided

Three rules govern every roundup and review:

  1. Fit first. A tool is included because it solves a specific problem for a specific type of store, not because it pays.
  2. Commission never moves rank. If a lower-paying or free tool is the better choice, it ranks higher and we say so.
  3. We name the downside. Every recommendation includes where it falls short and when to skip it.

Sponsored content

If a vendor pays for a placement, the page is labelled "Sponsored" at the top. Paid placements are excluded from rankings and from "best of" lists. We do not sell do-follow links, and we do not publish pre-written vendor copy.

Pricing and availability

Prices and plan limits change often. We date every pricing claim and link to the vendor's own pricing page so you can verify the current number before you buy. If you spot an outdated figure, tell us and we will correct it.

Privacy

Following an affiliate link may set a cookie from the vendor or its affiliate network. Those cookies are controlled by the vendor, not by us. Our own handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
